Safety Line, PM’up laureate

Safety Line is one of the laureates of the 2014 PM’up program selected among 300 projects this year.

Safety Line is a Young Innovative Company (YIC) who uses aeronautical data to improve safety and performances for air operations.

The Big Data market is estimated to several billions of dollars in the horizon 2020. Safety Line’s positioning on a project with a high growth potential, responding to sustainable development seduced the Ile-de-France region which decided to support the start-up through its PM’up program.

The objective of this program is for the region to support the development of companies considered as having a greater capacity to respond to regional development priorities. It concerns projects which “lay the foundation for the creation of employment, value, innovation and international development, and practice sustainable development.”

The selected enterprises will receive during three years not only a financial support, but also the assistance of the Ile-de-France Region and a network of more than 850 companies and institutional partners.

The cooperation with the Ile-de-France region represents a step forward for Safety Line whose final objective is to become the leader of Big Data applied to aviation.
