How can airports do more with the same infrastructure?

Big Data can provide a solution through the use of already available Data that until now has been largely left aside. For instance, Aircraft Surface Movement Radar data that is used by Air Traffic Control to guide the aircraft on the ground can be a valuable source of information about ground traffic and aircraft behaviour. AirsideWatch make the most of all this available data with innovative techniques of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

In November 2020, all airports will have to provide Runway Coefficient Code (RCC) using Global Reporting Format (previously known as TALPA matrix). AirsideWatch offers a GRF module that provides a real time RCC for each ruway third, based on all available Airports data (Weather, Runway sensors, RADAR data, runway inspections). This module allows the Airport Operators to have a Continuous, Accurate and Updated assessment of the Runway Coefficient Code.

From Radar Data to searchable trajectories

Aircraft surface movement radar date is broken down into trajectories for each aircraft movement, from landing to gate or gate to takeoff.
